Cleaning & Maintenance Tips:
Please do not leave the water and essential oils sitting in your diffuser. The oils used in your essential oil diffuser can be very corrosive and letting them sit for prolonged periods of time can affect your unit's performance. Also, the leftover scent of one oil can severely affect your experience when you put another oil in your diffuser.
After each use, we recommend emptying the tank, rinsing it with water, and wiping it down with a soft cloth or paper towel. Please do not submerge the unit in water and be careful not to get water in the vents on the bottom of the unit. We recommend thoroughly cleaning the unit once or twice per month.
To thoroughly clean the diffuser:
Fill your diffuser about halfway with clean water. Make sure you stop well below the max line.
Add up to 3 drops of pure white vinegar. This will help in removing the oils that are stuck inside the diffuser and on the glass or plastic pieces.
Let the diffuser run for about 3-5 minutes to allow the water-vinegar mixture to disperse throughout the unit and clean it.
Drain the diffuser completely.
Using a cotton swab dipped in vinegar, clean the tight spots and corners of the diffuser to make sure that no spots are left dirty.
Rinse with clean water.
Empty again and you’re good to go.
Use a dry cloth, or more cotton swabs or cotton balls to wipe the diffuser and dry it thoroughly.
Place the diffuser upside down for 24 hours to allow it to dry completely.
